About the Neighborhood

The North Central Columbus area is just a short drive to downtown, the Port Columbus International Airport, shopping, dining and entertainment, and many jobs are within walking distance. The area is nearby the northern suburbs of Columbus as well. The area is a mix of residential, office and light manufacturing, and includes businesses such as the George E. Fern Company, Carr Supply, Waterworks and Columbus Sign Company. The nearly 100 year old liberal arts school, Ohio Dominican University, is also located in the area providing educational and cultural opportunities.

Location

The North Central Area is bordered by Alum Creek to the East, Mock Road to the North, 17th and Joyce Avenues to the West, and I-670 to the South.
